Position: Manager, Organization Development

Summary: Reporting to  a Director, Global Talent Development,  this newly created position will be a hands-on, working manager role with responsibility to develop and implement an upgraded Organizational Development function for a global oil & gas services organization.  A key initial focus of this role will be the development/implementation of an upgrade of the organization's performance management/appraisal process and, going forward, will be involved in:  developing and implementing a consistent organization–wide change management process, philosophy and template; continuing the implementation of the global, bi- annual,  formal employee engagement survey and providing direction on action plans to global teams to address development areas that are  identified;  developing and implementing a consistent organization-wide mentoring program.  Initially this role will have no staff, but there is potential to add an OD Specialist as function is established in the next year.   This role will require some travel, including internationally.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Masters degree, with strong preference for a major in Organizational Development/Organizational Effectiveness or similar field of study.   Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in organizational development that includes working in a large, global organization with understanding of scalability requirements.    Must have hands-on experience in:  Developing and implementing a Change Management process and tools; Developing and implementing a Performance Management Appraisal process; Employee Engagement Survey process, including data analysis and providing feedback and action plans for identified issues;  Developing and implementing Mentoring programs;  demonstrated ability to work with individuals at various levels within an
